Role: Design, Social Media, & Outreach Coordinator
Duration: 2 years (2021-2023)
Responsibilities: Manage OA's social media presence, design informative & engaging content, keep a regular schedule of content, collaborate with the DEI task force to market events via social media, design posters & tabling materials for OA

SOCIAL MEDIA CONTENT
In this position, I was responsible with generating social media content that informs students and the general public about important events with OA, such as counting down to trip registration, when there are open spots on trips, and DEI-related events. When I first started this role, I stayed very close to the official UC Davis Graphic Standard, but started to infuse my own style over time to reflect OA's unique voice.
Updated Instagram Highlights section with hand-drawn icons and quick information available for users to easily navigate
Example of an annual countdown to trip registration opening- very important for generating hype and anticipation for our events
Example of a carousel-style informational post about a specific topic that students often call with questions about. Since I also served as the Rental Center Manager, I was keenly aware of frequent questions from students, which I used to inform the types of content I created for social media.

OTHER PROJECTS:
In addition to managing OA's social media, I also created a variety of other design-related content for the organization, such as posters, marketing material, and special projects.

One of my first projects in this role was creating an informational poster instructing students to reserve a time slot at the rock wall

Updated rock wall poster I created the next year- design choices reflect an update to UC Davis's Graphic Standard
